Certainly Egypt means much more than a luxury hotel with all the comforts of accommodation, the beach and the possibility to buy local shopping trips.

Alexandria, the city built by Alexander the Great in 332, has a great historical significance.  It is a port city on the Mediterranean Sea, a major industrial center, 80% of imports and exports from Egypt pass through here. You've probably heard of the Alexandria Lighthouse, which no longer exists because it was destroyed by natural causes. The architecture of the city is special, there are many gardens with palm trees and the traffic is super crowded. Attractions: Qaitbey Fort, built on the site of the Alexandria Lighthouse, Alexandrina Library, one of the largest libraries of antiquity, El Mursi Abdul Abbas Mosque, Souq Bazaar, Cleopatra's Underwater Palace, Montazah Palace Gardens, local restaurant fishing.
